Jean-Christophe Chauzy dessine depuis son plus jeune âge. De 1982 à 1990, il poursuit une collaboration régulière avec la presse rock indépendante Nineteen and Going Loco à Toulouse, Combo à Paris en tant qu’illustrateur surtout, mais aussi comme auteur de BD. En 1989, il travaille pour Futuropolis, où il publiera 4 albums. En 1993, parution de Peines Perdues chez Casterman, il continue depuis à éditer ses histoires chez cet éditeur, mais aussi chez Fluide Glacial et chez Dargaud tout en enseignant le dessin.
